BC Downs Effingham County 27-7
The BC varsity football team answered a few questions Friday night in Springfield with a convincing 27-7 victory over the Rebels. The Cadets scored on their third play of the game and never looked back. BC took a 21-0 halftime lead on the Rebels who returned 18 starters. The Cadets’ power running game controlled the ball during the second half. The BC quarterback, Miles McGinty, twice took a knee on the goal line with over a minute to play to end the game. Come support the Cadets this Friday, September 7th as they take on undefeated Long County Blue Tide at 7:30 pm at Savannah State.
