Benedictine Military School.  We're Catholic and we teach faith, honesty and justice.  We're among the finest JROTC units in the country.  Each is a huge factor in who we are.  The "School" part is just the icing on the cake.  We teach young men subjects; we do not teach subjects to young men.  Our faculty have each dedicated their education to their field.  They know their material and that's a given.  They know, however, that here at BC they are educators, not simply teachers.

An educator is a role-model, a mentor, a counselor, a psychologist, a parent, an enforcer of school policy and classroom rules, and, he or she is a teacher, too.  An educator is organized, efficient, well-prepared, loves kids, loves what they do, loves BC.  An educator may be a coach or an advisor, in which case, they are still educators.  An educator protects a child from all harm, is vigilant and aware.

Educators here at Benedictine are faith-filled adults, fine citizens of the United States of America, and they are all educators I would be proud to have my sons taught by each day.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you all from all of us,
